Miracle

Have you ever gone through a difficult season in life? Did you ever go through a time where you couldn’t imagine, even in your widest dreams, how things would ever get better? Well, if you have, you’re not alone.  There are SEVERAL challenges going on in my life right now, and even though I know in my heart that things will get better, it’s difficult to see just how God is going to weave this tapestry of struggle into a story of hope, justice and love.

A couple of days ago I was reading my facebook feed and this post from my friend, Jeff Hunt, popped up.  Jeff is a good friend and I asked him if I could re-post his thoughts on my blog. I thought it was a great message of hope, perspective and trust, and I know you will agree! As I read through this I was reminded that…“We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

My prayers are with you Barry!!

Everyone that I know have had those moments where they can not imagine getting through what they are enduring. Something that was pointed out to me that I take great joy in, is Isaiah 45:1-5 .. God talks to Cyrus about how he knew us before we even knew Him !!

Looking back on my life I can see very plain now that he was looking out for me all along, ages before I called him Lord. I think there are moments in every persons life where we look back and it is a real miracle that we are all here. Some have avoided accidents, survived unsurvivable crashes, battled addictions, wars, sickness, name it someone has gone through it. He knows what we are going to pray for before we actually say it and in some cases he is there for us even when we can not. Talk about a wonderful example of Grace and Mercy.

Jeff you really do have a miracle there with beautiful Taylor. God bless you and your whole family for the wonderful example and motivating me today on a day where I did not want to get up.
